Iconic chair, designed and produced in the 1950s. We choose to maintain the patina and history of this chair. There has been a restoration in the 1970s when someone spray-painted the legs of the chair brown and replaced the white feet by black feet. Later someone introduced fabrics. After our recent restoration you can still find the footprints of the fabrics, which all contributes to the character of the chair. You can more or less read the long history of this item: if only this chair could talk!
Iconische stoel, ontworpen en geproduceerd in de jaren '50. Tijdens het restaureren van deze stoel hebben we de patina en geschiedenis van de stoel geprobeerd te behouden. Tijdens een oudere opknapbeurt in de jaren '70 heeft iemand ervoor gekozen het frame bruin te spuiten en de witte voetdopjes te vervangen door zwarte. Nog later heeft iemand de stoel bekleed. Na onze laatste opknapbeurt kun je de footprints van de bekleding nog terug vinden. In onze ogen draagt dit bij aan het karakter van de stoel. Je kunt als het ware de geschiedenis van de stoel teruglezen!
