This chair was designed in 1958 by the renowned designers Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld. In the sixties and seventies generations of Dutch students grew up with this school chair. Decades later the chair became an important and timeless Dutch design icon.
In 2017 the Result chair was re-introduced on the market by Hay and Ahrend. The price for these modern copies is 265 euro. The chair on our site on the other hand is an original, needless to say. We cleaned this iconic chair and removed the unavoidable chewing gum. This sixty or so years old chair is functionally perfect, but for the eye not in a very good condition. Therefor the price is very interesting, which leaves room for the restoration.
In cafés, restaurants, lobbies and living rooms, the functional but aesthetic design attracts attention everywhere.
This chair is in yellow, which is quite rare!!
